Trinity™ fungicide is first module available to golf course superintendents
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, February 11, 2008 – Combining hard science in a fun, Web-based learning environment, BASF Turf & Ornamentals has launched a new online training module to educate golf course superintendents on its Trinity™ fungicide.
For current and future Trinity users, the new module at http://edu.basf.us/betterturf/basfmodule.html explains use sites, key benefits, recommended turfgrasses and diseases controlled. Interactive narrating by Kyle Miller, senior technical specialist at BASF, creatively adds turf insights. A concluding quiz gives superintendents a chance to show off their retention skills.
“Superintendents are pressured to professionally know more in less time,” said Dr. Toni Bucci, BASF Turf & Ornamentals business manager. “The online training module for Trinity represents one of the industry’s most interactive, Web-based learning environments. It’s quality content in a quick, creative context. We will launch more training modules targeted at lawn care operators and commercial growers, later this year.”
A member of the demethylation inhibitor (DMI) class of chemistry, Trinity fungicide, with active ingredient triticonazole, offers excellent preventative and curative control of patch diseases (brown, take-all and summer), anthracnose and dollar spot, as well as pink and gray snow mold control in northern turf. Trinity is ideal for disease control on turf, including fairways.
