I am working on a project in Congo Kinshasa. We only have access at this time to Basagran 480 and we are wondering if it can be used on turf grass, specifically bermuda grass? We would like to use it as a post emergence for the control of weeds, especially a hearty clover-like weed, which the locals call euphorbia. Will there be adverse affects to the bermuda grass? What mixture could be used? Email is the only reliable way to reach me. -Jedediah, Parmely., OR

    Jedediah,

In response to your question regarding the use of Basagran on bermuda grass for clover control. Basagran is safe on established Bermuda Grass for several weeds both grasses and braodleaves, however, it is weak on legumes (clover types weeds). Without Knowing the exact weeds you are targeting, I cannot make a reccomendation. However, a combination of Basagran and Dicamba or Quinclorac (Drive) makes an excellent post emergent weed tank mix for controlling several weeds in bermuda grass.

    Thank you,
